MCF 2022 Community Grant for $70,000 awarded to KidZone Museum

MCF Community Grants are evaluated based on their alignment with the mission of the MCF and awarded annually by November 1st. Applications for the 2024 cycle are due by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. Applications may be emailed to mcf@martiscamp.org.


2024 Grant Application


Focus Areas
Grants are awarded to programs that have a significant impact on the greater Truckee community in four focus areas:

Education
The MCF supports educational institutions that promote learning and intellectual development and that make education more accessible and effective for all students.

Youth Development
Organizations that provide services and opportunities that enable young people to develop to their full potential are supported by the MCF.

Human Services
Providing direct services to our neighbors in need is an important goal of the MCF. We support organizations that help people lead safe, healthy and productive lives.

Recreation
The MCF recognizes that recreational opportunities are important to all and supports organizations that improve the number and quality of recreational options in the area.

2024 Application Requirements
  • A link to the 2024 application is posted above
  • Applications must be submitted electronically in PDF format.
  • Complete submissions must include the application, a formal letter of request (no more than three pages), and supplemental documents. Detailed instructions are included in the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Applications are due by Sunday, September 1st, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Email your completed application to mcf@martiscamp.org.

A member of the MCF Grant Committee may reach out to the primary contact on the application if further information is needed for review.

The grant period is 12 months from the grant approval date. A brief summary report is due 30 days after the end of the grant period or by September 1st, whichever is soonest. Details for the summary report are included in the grant agreement (at the time of the grant disbursement).
